Accounting Manager in 2022

Our JLT office is aggressively expanding and needs multiple Accountants to join our Dubai in-house Accounting and Tax Department.
Weekly tasks will include but not limited to:
- Complete book-keeping for some of our multi-national Clients’
- For every country on the planet, to timely accurately and completely discharge multi-national Clients’ legal, accounting, audit and tax obligations;
- In every country on the planet, research accounting and taxation filing obligations
- While completing the above, liaising with global Governments, lawyers and accountants
- Reviewing the work of junior accountants in the Department
- Emailing multi-national Clients’ with quality deliverables
Our ideal candidate has:
- Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business & Accountancy or a related discipline
- Steady career record: 3-5 years continuous experience with one employer and 5+ years total experience in accounting or external/internal audit
- ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent certification is preferable
- Knowledge of international taxation, financial statements, company secretary and auditing
- Familiar with international accounting principles and standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.)
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
- Multilingual (Chinese, German, Spain, Arabic, etc.) will be considered as an advantage
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- A team player, comfortable working within a multicultural team
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Primarily focus on solutions and not the problems
- Enjoys serving multi-national Clients’ to a high professional standard
